23 years ago, a child was born. His name was Kalonji. Born in Brooklyn, New York to two Jamaican immigrants, he learned to read and write at an early age. 3 years later, They would move to South Florida for a better environment for their child. 9 years, one divorce and 2 sisters later, Kalonji and his family would move to Northern Virginia, where he currently resides.

3 years ago, a beat tape was released. It was the first of many, but it was rushed in execution. It was unmixed, unmastered and unfocused. 3 years and 3 tapes later, the tape was re-released. This one was trimmed down to 12 of Kalonji's favorite and most classic tracks. Enjoy.
